Logline: Grímsey is an island 40km north of Iceland in the Greenland sea. They have been populated for over 800 years but now their future is uncertain. This film is an elegy and celebration to a fading way of life.

Produced by Guðný Guðjónsdóttir and Sara Djeddou Baldursdóttir(Projects) in co-production with Emile Hjertling Péonard (Greenland) Helene Granqvist (Sweden and Eva Juel Hammerich (Nepethe Film Denmark). In preproduction. Set to film in spring 2026.

Logline: Passionate chef Styrgerður returns home after having wandered the world for years and gets a job as a chef at a rehab center for people with eating disorders, which is run by her sister at the farm that they grew up on.
Their slightly unhinged mother ensures that Styrgerður’s stay will be long-
term, and for the first time in her life she has to cook for people that refuse to eat.
